1980 GIBSON USA LES PAUL HERITAGE SERIES STANDARD 80 ELITE 1959 RI AS NEW !!! “AS NEW CONDITION”"FIRST YEAR PRODUCTION" “COLLECTOR GRADE” "CHECK OUT THE DETAILED PHOTOS BELOW" You are bidding on a MINT, Virtually Unplayed, and FIRST YEAR Vintage of a 1980 Gibson USA Les Paul Heritage Series Standard 80 Elite guitar finished in a beautiful Glossy Honey Burst Quilt Top. This guitar is truly a fine vintage example of one of the earliest attempts by Gibson of the 1959 Re-Issue and would stand up to a real 1959 model at a fraction of the cost. The build quality and sound of this model is top class, no wonder collectors and players sought out these models. The guitar is in "Exceptional Condition”, Super Clean with virtually NO PLAY WEAR. Collector Owned and stored for 99.9% of its life. The top looks in near mint condition, retaining all the gloss of a new guitar and the back is the same. The neck is straight as an arrow, medium profile, somewhere between a 50's & 60's, but not a baseball bat. The EBONY fretboard also is in excellent clean condition, with original frets showing hardly any wear.
