Bechstein model V (later called model 10) upright piano. Reconditioned mechanism, with new springs, ties, felts, etc and reshaped hammers for tone improvement. Original black / ebony finish, with some stress marks, but generally very tidy. Offered here in an auction with a bargain start price. There's a hidden secret within this piano. The panel above the keyboard, behind the music rest, is decorated with marquetry inlay on the reverse. It's been painted over too. In my specialist piano cosmetics workshop I can turn the panel round, expose and polish the inlay, and add suitable brass sconces.
