Yamaha SG-800 (Persimmon Red, 1980)On offer a vintage Yamaha SG-800 Electric Guitar, great condition with very few scratches and marks on the guitar body, and all the electric components work flawlessly. The Yamaha SG-800, like the Yamaha SG-700, is a brother of the now very well renowned and famous Yamaha SG-2000, Yamaha SG-1000, and the lesser known Yamaha SG-1500. All top class vintage instruments and getting increasingly harder to find.The SG-800 was introduced as the follow up from the Yamaha SG-700 and was produced from 1979-1981. It was the successor to the SG-700 which was released in 1976. Like its heavier predecessor the Yamaha SG-700, it has excellent playability and low action with great tonal range, due to Coil Tapping options. Comes with Yamaha hard case, Weight of guitar approx. 3.8 Kgs, neck width at nut approx. 4.4 cm. Location Berwick upon Tweed. Can ship worldwide.
