Attention vintage Tama drum fans.For auction.Vintage Tama Superstar drums from the 1980s, made in Japan.Black and silver Big T badges-- with corresponding serial numbers.The Superstar series of drums were considered to be top line Tama drums -- the best drums made by Tama in the 1980s and among the best from any maker. Regarded as some of the best drums of their day -- high quality design, top line materials and looks and sound to match,These drums are all in clean, solid condition, no cracks in the shells, no extra holes. Clean bearing edges and interiors. All drums have been refitted with pro grade heads that are either new or near new.DETAILS:24 x 14 bass drums, VIRGIN DRUM -- no extra holes for tom mounting resulting in improved drum tone. 10 lugs per side, original matching hoops, original lugs and t rods. Upgraded Evans ported resonate head and Suoer Kick batter head. Sime light surface scratches on the shell exterior and on hoops from routing wear over the years. Very clean chrome hardware. The underside of the drum is clean. Superb tone with lots of low end punch. 16 x 16 floor tom on legs. Nice shell finish, some slight surface scratches from routine wear, with bearing edges and shell interior in clean condition. 8 lugs per side. One of the drum's hoops has been replaced with a high quality die cast hoop. One of the leg mounts has been replaced with a Ludwig Super Classic mount. The legs are definitely Tama but I am not sure if they are the original legs. Chrome hardware is very clean. New Aquarian coated batter head and Remo clear reso head. Excellent deep tone with a wide tuning range. THE ORIGINAL FLOOR TOM LEGS FOR THIS DRUM ARE MISSING, THE LEGS SHOWN IN PHOTOS ARE FROM ANOTHER DRUM AND ARE NOT INCLUDED IN AUCTION.13 round x 9 mounted tom. 6 lugs per side. Nice shell finish with very clean bearing edges and shell interior. A few light surface scratches from routine wear. Original hoops, lugs and rods and tom mouting port, the wing nut that tightens the tom port may not be original. New Aquarian batter head and Remo clear reso head.
