Straight from our brass (and silver) instrument repair shop, our USED horns are brought back to life...All major dents are removed, joints re-soldered (if needed), patches repaired (if necessary) and the slides reworked.  Our horns may be buffed, but all are hand polished to a good shine and are in good playable condition.  For the collector who is looking for an instrument; we try to keep the original parts whenever possible; if the playability is good, we feel it should be left to the buyer's discretion to replace parts as desired.  We are proud to offer this refurbished instrument for sale. We have tried to describe it as it is, and are happy to answer any questions asked.  #119/2016Up for sale is a 1938  King 2B Liberty Model Professional Tenor Trombone, made by the HN White Co, Cleveland,OHIO, serial #213xxx.  This horn is made of yellow brass and solid nickel and is nicely engraved. There are various dings and small dents with light scratching throughout. The slide action is very good and the stockings are in good shape with light wear.  There is great compression. The slide bore is .481/.491, with a 7.25" bell flare. It comes with a used, hard-sided case and a mouthpiece.  The case is not original, but serves to hold the horn well.  This horn is not lacquered, therefore, it will need to be polished periodically (we recommend Weiman METAL polish). This model historically has been one of the favorite jazz horns of all time.  This horn has excellent intonation, fast response, and lots of power.  I found this horn to be a 'blast' to play.  Thanks for looking and check out our other items!
