Call TOLL FREE (844) 437-5551 for more info!VINTAGE 1970 Martin D-12-35 Acoustic Guitar (174)Physical ConditionThis guitar is a super cool vintage piece, and despite needing a neck reset, is in all original condition and sounds great! As previously stated, this Martin is in need of a neck reset, and possibly some work on the body, as the lower area behind the bridge has started to belly up a little. All bracing seems to be intact. There are a handful of dents and impressions on the back of the neck, as well as some thinning finish in the first position. The binding in the bouts of the body has separated in a few spots which will need reattached, and the binding along both sides of the fingerboard has cracked in multiple areas as well, mostly on the bass side. The fingerboard is in great, clean, condition with no trenches dug in. The headstock is in great shape with only a few light dings here and there. Aside from one dime-sized area thatis scuffed through the finish on the side of the guitar near the lower strap button, the body only has some wear typical of a vintage piece, such as a few stray dings, scratches, and weather checking here and there. Overall, this is a FANTASTIC old Martin, and with a little TLC will make a great player for years to come.FretwearThere is only some minor wear on the first few frets.ActionMedium action.
