For sale is an Akai MPC4000, max RAM and 8 outputs. Cosmetically it's in nice shape, and the screen is bright with no dead pixels. Functionally this is sold in as-is condition, it is not fully functional. I am not sure what's wrong with it. It seems to be working fine as it should except there is a crackly output on the sampled sounds. It doesn't come loaded with any sounds and you'll have to load or sample your own. Sometimes it seems to work perfectly fine from just the headphone output, and not the main outputs. I've read on forums a few other users reporting this to be a common issue with the MPC4000 and it looks to be a simple fix of reseating the RAM or installing new RAM into it, but I am not an expert, so again this is sold in as-is condition for parts/repairs, no returns, refunds or warranties. There also appears to be a couple small screws that are inside the unit and loose.
