I have a very nice Carvin dc135 here. Beautiful blue burst color. Neck thru body. HSS pickup configuration. Passive electronics. And a Floyd rose tremolo with an unlocked (standard) nut. This also has the industry best Sperzel locking machine head tuners.The guitar sounds and plays very good. It has a warm 3D sound. And the hallmark of Carvin neck thru's is they have a long sustain with a slow decay. Notes last long and then fade. They do not just drop and sound dead like in cheaper guitars. It's a guitar for the discerning gearhead. I love these. And frequently sell them. I have a couple other Carvin's listed currently as well.This one here is extra versatile because of the single coil pickups. The floyd works great. I am not a huge whammy bar user. But i find the overall tone and tuning stability of these sounds really good. As far as i know it is an Al der body, Ma ple neck, and Ebon y fretboard.It is in good used condition. See the pics for condition. A little playwear here and there. Nothing major. Carvin finishes are very durable and age well. Setup is good. Plays very easily.
