PLEASE READ 100% as there are NO refunds!!! I will be as descriptive as possible... This auction is for a 100% perfectly working Les Paul Classic. I gigged with this guitar and it shows...which brings some good points and some not so good points (which is ALL cosmetic). The good: It sounds incredible, nicely aged and broken-in, all 100% original parts (every piece of electronics untouched from pots to pickups) with absolutely nothing changed aside from a professional re-fret. Unmolested! It was also stored in a non-smoker house in a humidity controlled room. Tuners fully functioning and original. I am the ORIGINAL owner. I have EVERY piece of case candy, receipts, etc. included wth winning bid. It was handpicked by a friend at the Gibson factory. The color is beautifully matched with the awesome trapezoid swirled inlays. Neck perfectly straight with great action (although it is set for a half step down so it may need a new set up for standard tuning to avoid any buzzing).
The NOT so good: The neck had a very CLEAN easy break / crack at a studio while recording (damn wires!!). It was professionally fixed at Peekamoose Guitars in Manhattan NYC. ALL receipts for repairs are enclosed in the pics. Fix looks outstanding and never goes out of tune. Sounds actually better then when I bought it! It has some spiderwebbing around the controls, extensive buckle rash on the back (but no paint chipping yet), a small ding on the lower front (barely noticeable). I like the workhorse look! The pick guard is slightly cracked. The input jack frame is slightly cracked. The plastic pickup selector switch slightly cracked. Headstock has usual string change scratches. Obviously has minor dings around input jack. Comes with original case (with the sewed in satin blanket). Really nice and about $200 separately on eBay. Obviously a lot of wear on the case but 100% fully functioning locks/handle, etc. Thank you for considering! A great deal on a gigged out guitar. Plenty of life left!
