1963 Gibson Hummingbird, Sunburst finish, 1 & 11/16 inches wide at the nut, A White Ceramic insert on a fix bridge, Gold Kluson tuners. Ready to play, Beautiful sounding, Just like the Rolling Stones used to play.Gibson Hummingbird guitars were Gibson's first square shoulder dreadnought guitars , although the guitar was a little pricy when it was introduced in 1960 it was an immediate success The Hummingbird "was and is" an eye catcher and plays acceptionally well ( rich tone), it opened and paved the way for other household named flat top gibson acoustic guitars with square shoulders such as the dove custom guitar , country western and the gibson heritage .Include a Gibson hard case. Not the original one, but in an excellent condition.
Still in excellent condition. Plays very well. A fabulous sound.Built in Kalamazoo plant in Michigan. Part number : 117413 (on the label inside the guitar and on the outside engraved in the wood)Additional pictures are available.
