Paul Rivera founded Rivera R&D in Southern California in the mid '70s. Known for his brilliant mods, he was soon designing amps and complete effects rack systems for top acts such as Toto, Van Halen, and Lee Ritenour. In the early '80s, Paul designed the legendary Super Champ for Fender.
