Model: Classical Serial Number 971 Medium/Large Bore Alloy: Ambronze Bell: Detachable Lacquer: yes Case: Original Lawson wooden flat case Condition: Excellent Other Details: Great horn that is fun to play. It was built by Walter Lawson. Excellent mechanical condition, superbly even, excellent intonation, lacquer worn in high contact areas. Played in the Charleston Symphony Orchestra until 2014. Originally build for Peter Landgren when he was Associate Principal Horn in the Baltimore Symphony; the case still has Walter Lawson's tag for Peter.
