thin archtop GUITAR - Made in Germany around the beginning 1960s
- about 106cm total length, scale lenght approximately 60cm - sunburst thin hollow ES-style archtop body, top with multiple bllack/white celluloide binding, also inside the F-Holes, with original pickguard, back wit celluloide binding
lower bout 41cm, center bout 25cm, upper bout 32cm, sides` hight about cm
- bolt-on nice flamed maple neck with double skunkstripe and trussrod, original trussrod plate, quality fingerboard with radius and multiple black white celluloide binding, transparent block inlays, 22 frets, width at nut 42mm, unique multilayer celloloide headstock with DYNACORD decal
hight-adjustable original bridge with 3position roller saddles

original tremolo bridge (unique - adjustable with a tuner inside

original electronic: 3x orginal pickups (hight adjustable), 3x single pu selector switches, 3x Volume + 3x tone control, original alloy knobs, acoustic/electric switch
The guitar is fully playble with good string action (2mm E1 on the 12th fret)
The varnish on top and sides is in bad condition and is showing deep laquer cracks and charateristical signs of the time. Over the left F-hole a crack was sealed/closed with a sruce slice.
To lower the string action, a shim was inserted between neckblock and neckfoot. On the neckfoot a black wedge was inserted.
Two block inlays in the fingerboard were replaced with celluloide plates
The whammy bar is not original but can be pluged in to use the (very unique) tremolo
The jackplate is not original, tooThe fingerboard is showing no signs of playing. The frets were rounded and are without signs of wear, too . The fingerboard was cleaned and oiled--> Please see pictures
