Early 1900s French Violin
Estimated price for orientation: 2 100 $
Category: Other Vintage String
Class:
Description Exact Year: 1900 Country/Region of Manufacture: France
This violin was just recently restored to playing condition and sounds great! I bought it from a shop in Vienna last summer and had it restored at a shop in the US over Christmas. The shop appraised it at $2200 but I will take any serious offers - I already have my main violin and a backup, so I'd like someone to get some playing time out of this one rather than keep it for myself. It's a French Stradivarius copy from the early 1900s and would make for a great intermediate - advanced student violin. It has a new french bridge and set of Dominant strings with a golden label Pirastro E. It will be shipped in the pictured case with a 4/4 Kun shoulder rest and an extra dominant G and D string. If requested, I could throw in a bow to round out the purchase but it could raise the price. Please message me with any questions or if you want photos of different areas/angles!
