This unit has spent it's entire life in my smoke free studio. While these are great for location recording mine has never left home. Everything works and sounds just like new. These are amazingly well built and great sounding units.From True Systems website:
Precision8The Precision 8 is designed to provide the detailed, transparent sonic performance necessary for the highest quality direct tracking and live sound applications. It includes a unique combination of features which make it useful as a complete input system for MDM's, HDR's, and DAW's.
