This Vintage original 1964/65 Melody Maker is in a league of it's own. S/N 246937.Sunburst finish of the 1964 Models and the body style of the 1965. Not the "clumpy" neck joint of the '64 models and earlier. Fast playing, comfortable neck.Frets have minimum fret wear and appear to be original-never dressed.Minor finish checking and normal (maybe less) dings and dents. Tuners are tight and holds tuning.Comes with original reptile design cardboard case with all hinges and latches working and holding. no neck/heel breaks thus no repair. Handel is secure.Bought it to modify but can't bring myself to do it. It is too nice and too rare for me to take to that level.A true gem.
