Yamaha Super Flighter SF-700 (1978, Wood Stain)The middle of the range in the 1st issue Super Flighter series made in Japan by Yamaha from 1978 to 1979, these guitars are well sought after. The guitar has a 24-fret set neck into a solid mahogy body. It has two humbucker pickups with independent volume and tone controls, the SF-700 does not feature the coil-tap option like the SF-1000, via push push separate button, but still has a wide tonal range. Good quality chrome hardware and tuners, versatile and solid, and accurate. Rosewood fret board with mother of pearl markers. The guitar sustains well and is a joy to play. The action has been set low and the guitar is well over 30 years old, is reasonably clean and has genuine play  marks as well as marks where there would have been an alternative bridge. This guitar is a brilliant axe and suits a mix of blues/classic rock, rhythm or lead. The low action makes even a good shredder, effortless and accurate and riffs just flow through. Comes with Yamaha gig bag.  Postage reflects shipping and shipping insurance
