This is the only one on Ebay in the U.K. :) Martin 2K Soprano Ukulele Many believe Martin make the best ukuleles. This 2K model is one of their premium range and hand-crafted in the USA. No longer available. Rare in the U.K. Highly collectible. RRP: £1699.00 Specs: • - Solid Hawaiian Koa body • - Ivoroid binding • - Ivoroid friction tuners • - East Indian Rosewood fret/ fingerboard • - East Indian Rosewood bridge • - Black compensated nu-bone ebony style saddle • - Black nu-bone nut • - Soundhole rosette • - Martin Fluorcarbon strings Details: • Stamped "Martin and Co, Nazareth, PA" inside sound hole and back of headstock • Old-style Martin logo screen print to headstock front Condition: Overall, excellent pre-loved condition. While looked after, this lovely instrument has however been much loved and played. It has light strumming marks on the lower front bout (it has a satin finish) and while you could possibly polish off, for me, these add a certain "mojo". If I scrutinise super carefully, there is a single, minute, sub-mm mark on the lower side - too small to photograph and possibly a little bellying (the uke is a solid wood instrument and this is normal). The uke has been humidified in case but guess if I were super, super pedantic guess you could say it was present (will photograph if I can to illustrate -) My philosophy buying used gear: I always wonder why something is unplayed and unmarked. This soprano uke is a thing of beauty - light and resonant - and certainly has not been sat in a case. Extras: • - Fitted black leather look case with chrome fasteners (as new condition) • - Grey Martin and Co gig bag • - Furry black interior • - Spare pack of M600 Martin fluorocarbon strings • - Certificate Sound and playability: • - Loud • - Bright • - Soprano "bark" • - Perfect intonation • - Glorious "Martin" sound (they say "we take tone and build an instrument around it!") If you are member of a ukulele club or band, this uke will help you to be the star of the show! Be prepared to receive a lot of attention! This one really delivers looks, sound, and playability! :) Terms of sale: Sorry! No returns. Item is used and has a few tiny marks here and there (as I say much loved). It is important to be aware of this. I unable to offer local pick up. Uke will be carefully packed and sent via tracked and insured courier/ Royal Mail. I not able to send overseas - Rosewood is now on the CITES lists and cannot cross borders. For us in the U.K., this reinforces the rarity of this instrument - don't miss this one! Reason for sale: Honestly, not totally sure. If you want it buy it quick as I might have a change of heart.
