Great condition 1987 Fender American Standard in black with a maple board. This one looks and plays great. Weighing in at a comfortable 7lbs. 11oz. an early American Standard in this condition is rare indeed.Both the body and neck date to March of '97 so it's just about to celebrate it's 30th birthday. Very early American Standard with the "Fullerton Curves". What you see is what you get. If it's not shown it's not included. The only issue is that the tip of a trem Spring is rusted off in the block. This only effects the one hole (pictured). You can still use up to 4 springs if desired. It's currently set up using 3 springs, d'addario 9-46 strings and barely floating. You can pull up a little and the trem action requires only a light touch. Fretboard action is set up medium with a small bit of neck relief. Truss rod works good and there's plenty of saddle adjustment either way to make most any preferred setup a possibility.This is a clean 30 year old USED guitar. Cosmetically it is very nice but NOT perfect. A setup to your liking may be required. Everything works as it should.Free shipping including insurance in the Continental USA lower 48 only.
