This is a vintage Conn tenor saxophone #277XXX in well-worn bare brass finish, manufactured in 1936 in Elkhart, Indiana USA. Keys are silver-plated. Pads are a complete set of recent replacements, and this sax is set up to excellent playing adjustment. However, some players will always want a sax personally to their taste by their own technician, so buyers will need to figure that expense into the price BEFORE bidding. Rolled toneholes. Plenty of wear, scratches, and small dents from it's age. Resoldered mouthpiece receiver and several posts; no effect on the sound. This sax plays freely with a strong vintage edge and presence.
