UR824: the complete studio solutionThe UR824 consists of eight Neutrik XLR/TRS combo inputs with switchable pad function and a 48-volt phantom power supply. All the inputs are equipped with Yamaha D-Pre class A microphone preamps and high-quality A/D and D/A converters for dynamic studio quality, and two feature Hi-Z for electric guitar, for instance. This interface also offers 8 balanced analogue TRS line outputs for separate monitors or a 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system. And, with the pair of ADAT optical connectors, you can create up to 16 extra audio channels using just one USB port! This is why the UR824 is the ideal solution for use in the studio as well as on stage. dspMixFx: latency-free monitoring and effectsMonitoring with delay is a thing of the past with the technical ingenuity of this device's integrated Yamaha SSP2 processor. What's more, its dspMixFx technology provides you with high-grade effects that can be applied during recording or playback, again without any latency. The UR824's Sweet Spot Morphing Channel Strip is a compressor and 3-band parametric equalizer that can be applied to four mono or two stereo channels.
