This is a wonderful Tele with a Springsteen vibe in natural finish with a maple neck and a three-piece ash body with fantastic grain.I have had to blur the headstock in photoshop for legal reasons - it does have a Fender decal (I will email that pic to anyone interested) but is not officially a Fender guitar. It has a Fender body, taken from a Baja Tele, stripped and oiled by Feline Guitars with vintage tinted Danish oil. It also has an Allparts Fender-licensed vintage radius maple neck and was professionally assembled and set up in Oxford by the marvellous Smart Guitars. But it was not made in a Fender factory and thus I cannot advertise it as a Fender.It weighs 6lbs 10oz and plays beautifully.The neck pickup is an Oil City Californian, the bridge an Alligator 90 (a Tele/P90 hybrid). Details here: http://www.oilcitypickups.co.uk/televintagehot.htmlBoth are superb pickups, both very beefy, but with the volume backed off a little sound like a "normal" Tele, if you get my drift. They were installed by Feline Guitars who also made the brass ferrules on the rear. The pickguard is Bakelite. The bridge is original to the Baja I believe.The Allparts neck has virtually no playwear. It is vintage radius, and on the skinny side of average. It is tinted with Light Tint nitro from Manchester Guitar Tech.The overall condition is A1 - a couple of dings in the wood on the rear but nothing that won't sand out if you need it immaculate.Comes in a decent non-Fender hard case. Would prefer cash on collection in Oxford but will post to UK addresses.
