Up for auction is this Estate find,Cello Bow stamped Gotthard Schuster D41. The bow is complete and The frog mechanism works properly. However it will need to be re-strong and professionally cleaned. There is some old tarnish on the silver and I fear if I attempt to clean it any further that I will damage it being a novice to the proper procedure for cleaning the bow. I have researched this item and these bows in excellent condition sale for over $1000. This item is being sold in as found condition and please view the pictures carefully before bidding. I have gotten two opinions on the weight of this bow and it is as follows one weight measurement was 81.9 grams that was weighed at a local pawn broker who buys jewelry. Then I went to a fine jeweler and design shop they weighed the bow and the bow weighed 82 grams. The bow is as I read a tape measure 27 7/8 inches long or two small lines from 28 inches. There are no cracks in this bow anywhere happy bidding.
