What makes this guitar special: A discontinued model in fabulous shape & a dynamite player with wonderful, natural acoustics. The Gretsch G6120-1960 Nashville has FilterTron adjustable humbuckers combined with original Gretsch tone switch circuitry, a skillfully crafted laminated maple body and 3-piece rock maple neck to create a distinctive tone that's perfect for country, swing, and vintage pop. The guitar's ebony fingerboard with neoclassical inlays, bound oversized f-holes, flame maple bound headpiece, and multiple body binding lend visual elegance. Professionally set up by our luthier with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds fantastic!Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused with some typical light play wear - various minor nicks & dings throughout with mild surface scratches. There is a pretty good sized chip in the body, lower bout treble side, near the control knobs. There is some cracking down the center of the fingerboard. It's not too bad really & appears to be only in the surface of the fretboard, and does not affect playability or sound quality.Neck: Rounded maple neck with cream binding & red side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl "thumbnail" inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Bound headstock with flame maple overlay & mother of pearl Gretsch & Horseshoe inlays. Grover Sta-Tite tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width with zero fret; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.Body: Hollow, maple body with 2-ply binding & bound F-holes. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with Rocking Bar bridge. Gold plexi pickguard with Gretsch Nashville logos. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 3.3 oz.Pickups: Gretsch FilterTron humbuckers with gold bezels.
