Folks this is a real beauty. These super rare, Japanese beauties were only made for a short period of time in the mid '80s & are becoming highly sought after. This one was just recently acquired from a collector who kept it in immaculate condition. Gorgeous, metallic red sunburst finish is quite eye catching & very vibrant. The guitar has been professionally set up and plays brilliantly.It really does look practically brand new at 34 years of age! There are a few mild surface scratches, and minor dings at the top of the headstock but otherwise the guitar is nearly mint.It has a slender maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with pearloid "snowflake" inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl logo & inlay. Fender sealed tuners with pearloid buttons in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition. The neck is actually perfect. There was a slight smudge on the back on the neck which wasn't buffed out before the pictures were taken but there is not a flaw to mention on the neck. It is perfect. The sticker from the original shop is on the back of the headstock.It has a contoured alder body with carved maple top & multiple binding. Stop tailpiece with micro tune for each individual string. Adjustable bridge with roller style saddles. Chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 4.4 oz.Dual humbuckers with coil splitter. Bridge - 11.42K ohms; Neck - 7.76K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch.
