1963 Olympic White Fender Stratocaster Original No excuses original pre-CBS Olympic White Custom Color Stratocaster from 1963. It’s a very beautiful guitar, the pics speak for themselves. As you can see, the guitar is exceptionally clean with only light checking.A true investment grade instrument. Nice big neck profile  It plays well all the way up the neck  nice low even action and is beautifully resonant.  I had the guitar professionally re-fretted with original gauge wire because I felt that it should play as well as it sounds. All three pickups measure right at 6k ohms on a meter the bridge at just over 6k ohms actually ( 6.1k). and produce a fat bell like Strat tone.The fingerboard is a beautiful piece of Brazilian Rosewood with deep, rich coloring to it. Pure tone wood. The guitar weighs in at 8 lbs. which is medium/light.
