There are a few dings on the body and some scrapes on the metal tremolo cavity cover(see pictures). Beautiful three-tone sunburst finish on the alder body with black pickups, knobs and chrome hardware. The guitar has a nice action and the "V" profile rosewood neck with a 12" radius rosewood fretboard gives the instrument a great tone and its special oil/wax finish, a fantastic feel. The frets are in excellent condition.The two DiMarzio single coils have a great tone and the DiMarzio humbucker sounds powerful. When you add to this a 12dB boost activated by the push/push tone control any pickup combination becomes potent. The active preamp has two internal trim pots so you can fine tune the preamp to your own personal taste. A 5-way pickup selector is teamed with master volume and tone controls. The 5-bolt joint assures that the neck is super secure and the rounded heel makes access to the entire fretboard extremely comfortable. Chrome hardware includes a Music Man vintage tremolo with bent steel saddles, and reliable Schaller M6-IND locking tuners. Here is a great guitar with modern pickups and electronics with a classic finish and a boutique neck. Includes the original MusicMan hard shell case and all the "case candy". From ear-splitting leads to cream covered rhythms, these DiMarzio pickups deliver, and with a 12dB boost when you need it, complete tonal control is within arms reach. Incomparable Rosewood neck and fretboard The Rosewood neck and fretboard of the Music Man Luke III HSS features 22 frets, a 25.5" scale, soft "V" profile and 12" neck radius. The gunstock oil and hand-rubbed wax finish is unlike any other neck you'll play.
