If you are reading this listing then you already know the significance of John Page and his artistic contributions to the history of guitar.  This unique and beautiful guitar is one of the featured guitars on John Page's website.  As noted it was the 20th guitar built for his namesake guitar brand John Page Guitars after he returned to building for the first time since leaving the Fender Custom Shop.  (See below for John's description of the guitar, no one can describe it like the maker!)  This guitar was hand made by John and is equally a work of art as well as a master built instrument.  To buy a new guitar hand built by JP today would cost at least $5,000 and also the back log is 18+ months.  These guitars are VERY rare, look around, you won't find many and to me you can count on one hand the number that John made that are equal to this one.  (Don't confuse the Hand Built John Page guitars to the factory made Classics that are made in Japan, both nice instruments, but these are obviously a separate class).  P-1SV, #020 is also new to the gallery. It sports a spectacular Redwood top that not too long ago was a piece of a barn here in Southern Oregon. The back is a muli-lam of Honduran Mahogany and 1000 year old Port Orford Cedar resurrected from one of the rivers up here (plus a couple of other accent species). She sings like a goddess! It's kind of a Pacific Northwest tribute...Any questions?  Ask me!  I can send additional photos upon request.
