This particular studio model has no F-holes, which is a fairly unique feature within Gibson's ES line of guitars. This no frills semi-hollow has pearl dot inlays on an unbound ebony fingerboard, black hardware, and two uncovered Dirty Fingers humbuckers. Tonally this guitar is round and robust, with excellent bass response that is soft but still defined and a nice airy voice that helps it cut subtly through a mix. The guitar shines with some slight breakup, and becomes very pick sensitive, allowing you massive levels of tonal control. The tonal qualities of the instrument itself are fantastic, very resonant and lively, sound jumps from the strings. Cosmetically this guitar is in good condition, with finish checking across the top and back, scratches and buckle rash, as well as an indent below the tailpiece on the top of the guitar. This guitar also has non original Gibson branded tuners on it. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case. This is not only an elegant and simplified rendition of one of the most iconic guitar's in the history of electrified instruments, it happens to have be oozing with the ever unquantifiable "mojo" we all desire so much.
