Made in 2000 , this is a vintage reissue of the legendary 1957 stratocaster made famous by Buddy Holly. Maple neck/fingerboard . Three single coils - has 5 way selector . Pretty amazing action , very easy to play-and playing is what it needs as its had little use in the last couple of years. The previous owner replaced the scratch plate which has been over tightened causing the plate to hairline crack on one screw hole. Hardly visible and i've never got round to replacing it- the original undamaged scratchplate i have included in the sale, so if it bothers you it can easily be refitted. In keeping with the original '57 there is an 'ash tray' type cover for the bridge pick up, i've shown that on one of the photos with the tremolo also fitted, neither of which i normally bother with. Hiscox semi flight case included in sale.Postage shown is approx.....if buyer wants to select own courier or collect in person that's fine with me.
