Estimated price for orientation: 5 551 $
Category: Gibson Les Paul Custom Electric
Class:
Description Brand: Gibson Series: Vintage Model: Vintage Exact Year: 1969
This is my beloved 1969 Les Paul Custom. The guitar is in original unbroken and never cracked or repaired/refinished condition. When I got it years ago, the pickups were in the case and Dimarzzio Super Distortions were in, so I reinstalled the originals. The pots date from 29th week of 1969. There is weather checking all around. The frets were changed to medium before I got her, and I've kept them in good shape with my great repairman John Westcott. The nut is newer. The knobs don't appear to be exactly matching, maybe one was replaced long ago?? The case has a gold lining, but looks like it might be from a firebird from that era. I've always kept it in a modern form fit case, old cases scare me!! The guitar weighs 9lbs 15.5oz on my digital scale. It plays and sounds exactly as it should, and is one of my all time favorites, but I have a serious addiction to 1960s Marshall Plexi heads and cabs that has forced me to liquidate some of my babies!!!Ask any questions before you bid. All sales are final. Please do not pay until I calculate insurance, which will be based on the final sale price. Local pickup here in Los Angeles is encouraged!!Check my other auctions for more guitars!!Good Luck!
On Feb-20-17 at 19:32:00 PST, seller added the following information:I just realized that when I took the pictures I still had a gold Callaham bridge on the guitar. It will ship with the original abr-1 with nylon saddles that came with the guitar, not the Callaham. Thanks!
