This is a very resonant didgeridoo ,long ,low and elegant. I’ve worked very hard making the walls of this instrument thin which when mixed with its low drone note gives it a very large range of frequencies. Because of its wide bore both low and high vocals come through hauntingly and loud. It’s percussive toot plays powerfully cleanly and with a thud. Elongated toots play relatively easy. Normally with a didge this low the backpressure is also very hard to get used to however I feel that for its very low note this is relatively easy to play.wood; woolybutt eucalyptusnote; Atoot; D alength; 1835mmmouth; 34mmbell; 110mmThis is Woolly butt eucalyptus harvested in the Northern Territory’s near Darwin Australia. It was eating out by termites and then shaped by hand with long chisels. The name Wooly butt comes from the woolly substance that grows around the base( butt ) of the tree which deters small woodland creatures from eating the bark.
