This wonderful Yamaha compensating baritone horn features a gold brass mouthpipe and valve casings for long-term precision. Monel pistons are resistant to corrosion and maintain precise fit and smooth action for many years. Hand-lapped valves and slides ensure perfect fit for smooth airflow and action.Yamaha baritones are among the most respected instruments in the world. Premium features such as honed valves for zero air leakage, perfectly round pressure-formed tubing for smoother air flow and excellent scale, plus laser-fused pluzuma welded bells for continuous even vibration make these horns great sounding, supremely easy to play, and very durable. I have played this horn in many different venues and it always shines with the best. The intonation is perfect. And the horn is in outstanding condition with only very minor wear. I am including the original Yamaha mouthpiece and a wonderful Gold-Plated, Denis Wick SM6B Ultra mouthpiece. Take the time to adapt to the Denis Wick mouthpiece and you will have the most beautiful full and resonate sound imaginable in all ranges. The high tones are full and pronounced, and the bass notes are commanding and bold. This horn is being sold with the original hard case, 2 mouthpieces, Gard gig bag and the Baritone stand.
