is in excellent condition, has a a full walnut body, low play hours and never gigged with. Lots of fret life, I'd say its 95% or so, no dead spots along all the frets.The blank black ebony board is issue free, straight and set with a slight relief to accommodate D standard tuning. Truss rod works fine.Set with low string action, about 1.35mm for the 6th string and 1.25mm for the 1st string at the 12th fret. Like all Caparison necks that are compound radius-ed, I have the bridge saddles radius-ed at 12". If you like I can have it set to 16" to match the last fret at the 24th.Here are some upgrades added to this Caparison.- Originally stock, the neck was a little thick for my liking and and I decided to have it shaved done a tad by a professional luthier. Plays sleek and smooth at the back. - pickups changed to EMG 81X for bridge and 85X for neck, 25k volume pot for active pickups.- changed original tuners to Gotoh locking tuners.- a new black nut added to accomodate strings for D standard tuning.All the electronics and input jack work perfectly. The only issue with this Caparison was a repair job done to the strap button.This guitar was damaged during transportation and the strap button was dislodged from the upper horn of the body.It was repaired by a professional luthier with an impeccable air brush job to match the body finish. There is a slight noticeable bump if you look real close upfront, other than that the strap button holds up perfect and sturdily as it should.
