Straight from our brass (and silver) instrument repair shop, our USED horns are brought back to life...All major dents are removed, joints re-soldered (if needed), patches repaired (if necessary) and the slides reworked. Our horns may be buffed, but all are hand polished to a good shine and are in good playable condition. For the collector who is looking for an instrument; we try to keep the original parts whenever possible; if the playability is good, we feel it should be left to the buyer's discretion to replace parts as desired. We have tried to describe it as it is, and are happy to answer any questions asked. #113/2016Up for sale is a Customized Yamaha 882B-a 882BGO Professional Tenor Trombone with F Key, serial #001xxx. This is a fine instrument Made in Japan with a Symphony Xeno Custom Valve, one of the best...only available in Japan. This instrument definitely plays well and is made of gold brass and solid nickel silver; with the original lacquer finish. There is some minor lacquer wear at the grips and minor wear at the bell flare. There are very minor specks of acid bleed at the bell rim. There is a bit of lacquer wear through on the slide tubes and at the end crook. The slide action is very good to excellent, with very good compression. The stockings are in excellent condition. The slide bore is .547/.547, with a 8 1/2" bell flare. This horn comes with a Yamaha Euro classic mouthpiece and a beautiful original Yamaha Case in great condition. This is a wonderful horn...To me, it is a 'Wow'! It plays very similarly to my Conn 88HCL 2000. It has great intonation and response and is an excellent horn for a serious student or professional.
