Antique & Vintage furniture Wimbledon 07850 890032 We are delighted to offer for auction this absolutely stunning and exceptionally rare Corinthian Pillared walnut Piano stool newly upholstered with aged brown leather This piece is one of the best you will ever see, it seats two (if rather narrow hipped) but one most comfortably, the lifts to reveal a generous sheet music storage space, with end has easy to use tilt slope risers so you can sit ever so slightly forward We have restored the piece to include the wood work hand cleaned waxed and polished, new age brown leather upholstery and new hessian base which has all been hand nail tacked in place Condition wise the frame has a very small amount of side to side play as you would expect given the eloquence of the frame construction, it also has some chips and scratches consistent with honest use and age, I would estimate this piece to be at least 80-100 years old so it is a fine survivor.
