1965 Fender Mustang Here's a great '65 Mustang in pretty darned good shape. This example is in really nice condition, with some play wear but no abuse. It has a nick or chip or two, but nothing significant - just what you'd expect from a guitar with this much seasoning. I've tried to show these in the pix. There is some honest play wear - like on the back of the neck, and some finish checking. This guitar was played by someone who loved it and played it a lot, and it shows. Great mojo. Original case included, good shape. Locking latches both function, middle flip latch is not working.
This one is all there, all correct and all original, except the tuners, which have been replaced. I suspect it’s been played enough in its 51 years that the old ones simply wore out. Wish I had the originals, but unfortunately not. The replacements are same as original except chrome instead of plastic buttons - exact physical match, no extra holes drilled. Hard to find a cooler Mustang. Sweet, sweet vintage Fender guitar that has soaked up a lot of energy from some devoted player.
