Selling lowest possible cost to fund the purchase of my dream set, take advantage of my finial need for your percussive gain! I'll pay the bulk of the shipping but am building in $40 the cost to offset the cost of a shipping a large package, a brand new box, packing materials and time spent. I'm a student with a packed schedule so it'll ship the Friday/Saturday after purchase. Up for sale is a Gretsch 14 x 18 Walnut Lacquer bass drum. Sold to me as an early 80's drum and has a low enough serial # to make that pluassable. I have no way of knowing for sure though. Would be at least a $1250+ drum barring these (well done) hardware changes. Slingerland tom mount and Pearl spurs installed over what was originally Ludwig hardware (so I was told; there is no tightening screw on the Slingerland mount fyi). All extra holes pictured, see photos. Lacquer finish is in really nice shape, I didn't wipe it down or anything for these photos so it'll look even better if you want to clean it up. Has a bump or 2 but really looks minty with great wood grain. See comparison photo to a very worn drum. Chrome is excellent. Minimum but some claw marks on the hoops and a some wear on the logo head. Really an excellent sounding drum, tunes like a dream. I always try to be as transparent as possible but if you have any questions please let me know. Thanks and buy it now!
