This beautiful looking and sweet sounding Blessing flugelhorn horn is in the key of Bb. The horn has hand lapped monel pistons with a 3rd valve slide trigger. It has a gorgeous 6" rose brass bell in satin finish with bright lacquer/silver accents. Jazz greats such as Red Rodney played Blessing flugelhorns and this new model recaptures some of the character of the old Blessing instruments while also incorporating significant improvements. The BFH-1541 features a newly designed valve cluster profile, which is sleeker and more professional than any previous Blessing flugelhorn design. Renowned trumpet maker Cliff Blackburn was integral to the acoustical redesign of the Blessing BFH-1541 and his modifications to the first branch have made this the most in-tune flugelhorn available today.I've had the horn about a year. It's been loved and well cared for and a joy to play. I just bought a new flugelhorn at the NAMM show last month and need to let this beauty go.
