For your consideration, this as-new condition Technics SL-1200 MK6 direct drive turntable in black. This example has been my personal turntable for the past several years, and has only been used as an audiophile deck in a home hi-fi system. It has NEVER been used as a DJ deck. I am hesitantly parting with it only because I am moving and need to reduce my collection of audio equipment due to space constraints. Please Note: This turntable was built for the Japan domestic market and requires 100 volt 50/60 Hz power. It MUST be used with the appropriate step down transformer, otherwise it will be severely damaged or destroyed. Don't believe those who say that its okay to run a 100 volt deck on North American 117 volt power, they are sadly mistaken. Details of Condition: Dust cover is in perfect condition with no scratches, scuffs, or cracks. Technics dust cover hinge kit has been installed. Paint is perfect with no chips, scrapes, or soiling. All corners are perfect and have never been bumped. Spindle bearing has been lubricated at regular intervals with the correct Technics SFWO 010 oil (included). Platter spins level and true with absolutely no wobble or runout. Original transport box, bags, and foam inserts included. All original documentation and accessories are included (please see listing photos for details). Clear vinyl dust cover that I had made for this turntable is also included. The Mark 6 was the last version of the SL-1200 produced before production ceased in 2010. It features upgraded tonearm wiring, LED strobe and cueing lamp, and other refinements which at the time made it the best version of the 1200 Technics had ever produced. If you are looking for an as-new example of this deck for your home hi-fi system, then this is your chance! This item will be wrapped in 1" bubble wrap and double boxed in a double-walled box for secure transport to the winning bidder.
