This models Specs:-
**512MB Ram
**Spare 16 x pad sensor sheet
**No hard drive installed but i use TDK USB Sticks---6 brand new sticks included
(the USB port for flash-drives is much better than an internal drive as storage is unlimited to the size of your stick
(No noise and heat)
**Akai Effects board installed (Only the US models shipped with an internal IDE 3.5 " hard drive installed)
If you must have a hard drive i would only recommend a SSD as per
The Bad: :-**Pad no 16 sensor is out(I've included from MPC Stuff a brand Pad Sensor sheet with ribbon for Akai MPC4000 (does all 16 pads at once) that you can install at your leisure***)**16 level -small lamp out--(button is perfect working order)**The 2 sliders although working ok could do with replacement at some point.(Never bothered me)**this MPC is the zip drive version not sure if the zip drive is working as I don't have any zip disks too test. (I would never use a zip drive so never bothered me)
