This Blueburst Gibson ES-135 Memphis was made in 2003. The Es 135 had been discontinued for many years now but according to Wikipedia there weren't many made in 2003 and that was the last year of recorded production. This model has humbuckers instead of p90's. It sounds amazing, super clean, great tones and with distortion it's super defined. I had a Rolland Jc50 and a Fender Blues DeVille and it was great. Played through a Marshall Jcm900 and 800 and the distortion was killer. For being 14 years old it's in good condition. I've owned it 4 years. As far as looks There's a couple cracks in the finish along the edge, one along an f hole and one by the input jack. Over all it's pretty good. I've included pictures. It didn't come with a case when I got it but I located a case that it fits. The case is really crummy and could use some reupholstering. They are hard to come by since the guitar is discontinued and the es 135 is thicker than the 335 series. The guitar has strap locks and I will include a strap with the guitar.It will be shipped USPS priority,insured, bubble wrapped in the case and with lots of foam in the box. If you wish to change the priority shipping option please let me know in advance before paying and we can work that out. Please pay within 48 hours of the end of the auction. The model, with some modifications, was reintroduced in 1991 and remained in production until 2002, however at least one known example was given a 2003 production date, a Blueburst with Serial Number 00663724 March 7th, 2003.
