DW 7x14 Maple Mahogany VLT in natural lacquer and with black nickel hardware. This snare drum is in excellent condition and sells new for $729.The 7" depth gives this snare shell additional complexity, body and bottom end, while retaining the VLT's cracking rimshots. Hard to find a more versatile snare drum.This is a hard-to-find and awesome sounding MM-VLT snare. There are few natural finishes that look so awesome with the black nickel hardware. Instead of sharp contrast, the black nickel truly compliments the natural mahogany finish which has dark elements to it. (And my photographic skills do not do this lacquer and black nickel exterior justice, so thankfully there are many images available through Google).If you're a fan of the MM-VLT shell, this is a great addition to your snare battery. Both gorgeous to look at and awesome sounding. If you admire the MM Top Edge look in natural finish and black nickel hardware, but not the sound of the metal edge and X-shell combination, this provides a very versatile shell design with a striking appearance. I am selling this and a wide variety of other percussion items in excellent used condition. Although I have indicated 3 days to ship, my practice is to ship the day after your payment is made. If applicable, all items have been cleaned and inspected before the photos were taken, and then pre-boxed for shipping. All items are sold as-is.
