Straight from our brass (and silver) instrument repair shop, our USED horns are brought back to life...All major dents are removed, joints re-soldered (if needed), patches repaired (if necessary) and the slides are reworked for the best possible play.  Our horns may be buffed, but all are hand polished to a good shine and are in good playable condition.  For the collector who is looking for an instrument; we try to keep the original parts whenever possible; if the playability is good, we feel it should be left to the buyer's discretion to replace parts as desired.  We are proud to offer this refurbished instrument for sale. We have tried to describe it as it is, and are happy to answer any questions asked.  #81/2016Up for sale is a 1980 8H Artist Symphony USA Tenor Trombone made by CG Conn LTD. (serial number HC07xxxx). This instrument is made of Conn red brass, yellow brass, and solid nickel. There are several small dings (see picture example on bell flare), and a few scratches. There is faint rippling mid-bell in front of the bell brace and light ripple on the main bell.  The slide action is very good, with excellent compression.  The slide stockings are excellent, in almost new condition.The slide has the original lacquer; however the  bulk of the instrument is not lacquered; therefore, it may have to be polished periodically (we recommend using Weiman METAL Polish). This trombone comes with a nice gold-plated Schilke mouthpiece and a nice Conn case with the original set of keys.775-301-6289Please note:  our usual shipping days are on Monday and/or Tuesday, but may be able to arrange shipping on other days if possible.  We try to accommodate if we can...!  **Please note: if choosing FedEx for shipping you must provide a physical address not a PO Box.
