I bought this new and immediately sent it to have a LSR nut (like the ones on the Jeff Beck Strats) and Schaller locking tuners installed (based on the reviews about tuning issues). You can see from the pictures that the holes were filled from the original tuners. I do have the original tuners in the Schaller box. There is still plastic on the covers of this guitar. I have played it probably about 30 minutes. It stays in tune properly with the upgrades and it sounds great. There are no dings. The case candy bag is still sealed. It has been professionally set up with 10s. I really hate to part with because with the upgrades, it plays like a high end guitar. Unfortunately life keeps me busy, and I don't need a room full of guitars that collect dust. It comes with the gig bag it originally came with.
