The early Classics are some of the best Les Pauls ever made, The finish reminds me of Duane Allman's. It has a rare burl mahogany body, I have only ever seen this on a elegant LP once, it has a fantastic neck, some of the clear coat is wearing off but you can't feel it when you are playing it is very smooth natural wear, frets are perfect recently dressed by a professional luthier no buzzes or funny business. It has a Duncan custom DCMJ in the back and a Duncan 59MJ in the front. CTS pots bumble caps, it is wired if you pull up on the rear tone knob it goes out of phase in middle switch position for a Green/Page tone. Feather weight tail piece, original ABR-1 bridge. This is a players guitar with play ware it has a ton of mojo, it's one of those guitars you just can't put down. I have owned alot of Les Paul's different years this one is a gem.Comes with original case one latch is missing but still stays shut ok. Replacement latches are available online.Hi,Thanks for sending the pictures. The pictures and serial number are consistent with a Les Paul Classic in Honey Burst finish, made in Nashville in 1990. Thanks again, and I hope this helps!!Jon SutherlandGibson Customer Service 1-800-4GIBSON
