Description Brand: Vox AC30
This is a Rare - 1979 Vox AC30 Top Boost Reverb Combo Amp (Rose Morris) British - AmplifierI have had this amp for close to 10 years now. Quite honestly the best sounding amp I've ever played out of.I bought it almost the exact way you see it. However, I have had this thing serviced and repaired over the time I've had it to keep it in tip-top working condition!I recently just took it in to be serviced, the capacitors were replaced with new ones, as well as some of the pots. After the servicing this thing works and sounds like a million bucks!I changed the tubes a few years back with brand new (Groove Tube brand) Tubes. They have been lightly broken in, but not that much, as I have not played out of the amp in some time.As stated, I just paid to have it serviced so that you will receive a complete working amp without issue! This model AC30 comes with the Top Boost Reverb. It features a 12 tube circuit and an accutronics reverb pan. The reverb control is mounted into the panel location normally used for the Vib/Trem "Speed." A new six position rotary Vib/Trem switch offers 3 speeds of tremolo and 3 speeds of vibrato on just one control. The two button foot switch included controls the vibrato and reverb.I am also including a Used / Authentic A&S Flight Case with the Amp, which I specifically purchased for this amp.It fits and protects the Amp perfectly. This is a quite unique amp, and very sought after by Vox collectors. I believe the amp had a slight mod done to it... it looks as though a fan was installed inside the top portion of the amp to keep it cool while running. The fan is small, and is controlled by a on/off switch located at the top right backside of the amp. (see pic)Anything you need to know about this amp can be found here (just copy and paste url into your browser):http://www.voxshowroom.com/uk/amp/rmac30tbr_1979.htmlAny other questions, please do not hesitate to ask.AMP IS FOR LOCAL PICK-UP, ONLY. (Please contact for pick-up location and/or details)HOWEVER, WE WILL ENTERTAIN SHIPPING THE AMP (IN THE U.S. ONLY), IF YOU LIVE OUT OF STATE AND ARE INTERESTED IN PURCHASING THE AMP. SHIPPING PRICE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL COST TO THE BUYER AND WILL BE CALCULATED DEPENDING ON BUYERS LOCATION AND THE SHIPPING SERVICE CHOSEN.Note: Please keep all questions, comments, etc. about the Amp only pertaining to your interest in buying the Amp.You are more than welcome to come check it out, and hear it, however, I am only willing to show to Serious buyers.
