It is assumed this viola was made by William Moennig II, by the bridge imprint, but cannot guarantee this. And comes with a Sivori bow which needs rehaired eventually. There is no maker label, which I possibly why I bought it for a great price 22 years ago. It is has a nice cherry finish and mellow tone. It is actually probably better than a intermediate instrument (I played it in college). I can give an example of the tone (I am rusty, however) if necessary.
