The neck is intended for converting a Gibson banjo from tenor or plectrum to 5-string, or to replace an existing Gibson 5-string neck. It's not meant to be used for any other purpose.Neck - gorgeous flamed curly maple, ebony fretboard, Style -6 'hearts and flowers' M.O.P. inlay pattern, wide white binding, pearloid peghead overlay with 'Gibson' script, 5th string capo spikes installed at 7 and 9, two-way adjustable truss rod, two (2) hanger (lag) bolts, all five (5) geared tuners, 22 nickel silver frets, 26.25" scale, 1.25" nut width. The heel is cut for a one-piece flange. This resonator came off of a late 1960s Gibson RB-100 banjo. It's in overall excellent condition. The sides have been completely refinished by a pro luthier. It comes with the three (3) original wall lugs and thumbscrews. Being sold as-is, with no refunds or returns. Please ask questions prior to purchase. More pics are available upon request.
