I would describe it deep and rich. When playing it you really have to work into the strings to get the best sound. The more you play it the better you’ll understand how to make the sound resonate and project. -I purchased it from Reck Violin Shop in Iowa City: My private instructor picked it out for me (someone who knows what to listen for in a violin) -Fine tuners on all strings (this can be easily changed if you don’t want that)Strings Specs:-The strings are in better condition than I remembered. There isn’t any winding peeling or shifting off the core. -The strings on it are: -This is a synthetic core, so time shouldn’t have deteriorated the core of the stings at all.-There is also an extra set of old strings for back-up while waiting for your order of new strings to arrive.Bow Specs:-Full size-The bow is just a standard selection.-Minimal use, so it doesn’t need re-haired, and wont for quite some time.
